Dahi palak …is a delicious and lip smacking side dish , it can be served with any meal in the form of Raita… I usually love it with phulkas they taste awesome.
Spinach are good for eyes as doctors advice to have loads of palak for good eye sight. This Recipe is good in fact an apt one for people who loves good food with less oil or have been advised by doctors….
Spin curd is what I address this Recipe with, is easy, tasty and without any much a do,Though it doesn’t have sweet base to it like other classic ones do have..like bondi Raita and pineapple raita to name a few…Here i am sharing my Recipe spin curd | dahi palak | spinach curd which I have been making it since long time…..hope you like it…!
INGREDIENTS:
3/4 Cup Curd
1/2 bunch Spinach
3 – 4 cloves Garlic
2 – 3 tbsp Olive Oil
1 tbsp ghee
salt as per taste
METHOD:
1. Wash spinach ( Palak ) 2 – 3 times in water and chop it, where as on the other hand crush garlic in motar (okhli).
2. In a pan or kadhai, add ghee and once it melts add spinach, salt and cook until spinach ( palak ) is done.
3. In a serving bowl add curd, palak , crushed garlic, salt and olive oil, mix everything well.
4.Serve with phulkas or with any meal as raita.
NOTE:
Do not over cook palak nor add any water to it, in fact when palak is fully dry and sticks at the bottom, off the gas.
PREPARATION TIME: 15- 20 Minutes.
Serves: 2 Persons.
