Every day same old question we ask to ourselves ‘what to cook today ’ its a million dollar question for many house wife across the world, and every day one cannot make chicken , mutton infact vegetables should be consumed on daily basis. This recipe is for those house wives who wants to cook regular cuisine in a very different way., so here is French beans and potatoes recipe for all those woman who wants to cook the very same French beans in a different way.
Ingredients :
250 gms French beans
1 chopped onions
1 chopped tomato
2 small potatoes
½ cup water
Pinch of turmeric
1 tsp or 1 ½ tsp red chilli powder
½ tsp coriander powder
½ tsp garam masala powder
½ tsp ginger garlic paste
½ tsp cumin seeds
Salt as per taste
Oil
METHOD:
Peel , wash and cut potatoes in small cube shaped and keep them in water so that they remain fresh.
Wash French beans, then remove the side strings if any from both the sides and then chop it into small pieces.
In kadhai heat oil, add cumin seeds and let it splutter, then add onions n fry till they change color.
Now add ginger garlic paste and sauté till raw smell disappears.
Add tomato and fry until it becomes soft.
Now add salt, turmeric powder, coriander powder, chilli powder, and fry till oil separates.
Now add potatoes and French beans and mix everything well.
Add water and keep on low flame until French beans and potatoes completely done.
Sprinkle garam masala powder and simmer for 2 minutes.
Serve with rotis or phulkas.
PREPARATION TIME: 20- 25 Minutes.
