Recipe of Chicken Manchurian

Chicken Manchurian

Chicken Manchurian is the adaption of Chinese seasoning and cooking techniques in indian style . Chicken Manchurian is cooking in two ways , dry or with gravy . If you like gravy then enjoy this chicken Manchurian gravy

For Marination
500 gm Chicken breast
2 tbsp soya sauce 
1 tbsp Vinegar 
1 egg
2-3 tbsp Corn flour
2 tbsp Maida / All purpose flour
1tsp ginger garlic paste   
½ tsp black pepper   


For sauce

2 tbsp Garlic chopped
2 tbsp Soya sauce
2 tbsp chilly sauce 
2 tbsp tomato ketchup
 1 tbsp Vinegar
1 cup Chicken stock
1 cup tomato puree 
3 tbsp cornflour
2 onions finely chopped 
2 green capsicum chopped, cube shape 
Pinch of red food colour
2-3 green chilies chopped   



  1. Cut Chicken into cubes and marinate it with salt , black pepper , vinegar , soya sauce and ginger garlic paste for 3-4 hours .
  2. Just before deep frying the chicken , add Egg , corn flour  and maida  , mix everything Well . Heat Sufficient oil and deep fry chicken pieces till its golden drain and keep aside .
  3. Now heat oil in a wok , add garlic and fry for few seconds , now add chilies and tomato puree , simmer for a while , now add onions , once its turns translucent , add capsicum , salt , vinegar , soya , sauce , chilly sauce , tomato sauce and red food color ,saute for a minute , Now add fried chicken and fry for some seconds .
  4. Dissolve some corn flour in chicken stock and add this corn flour to the sauce to make a thick gravy , keep the flame high , Check the consistency of the gravy , now pour the gravy in serving dish and serve it with friend rice .

Note : Chicken Stock is optional if you want you can dissolve cornflour in water to make gravy .

For more gravy instead of 1 cup water ( chicken stock ) you can take 1.5 or 2 cups as per your required gravy .

Serves : 2-3 person
